LITTLE HOME ON THE PINEY BOOK BY LARRY DABLEMONT.This book is the story of my father's boyhood in the late ‘30's and in the ‘4O's. It is a true story and I guess each chapter is something easy for me to recall as I heard these stories over and over as I grew up. I never got tired of hearing them. I don't know if I got everything in chronocological order but I tried my best. I have also written this book to the best of my ability to read like my Dad sounded when he told these stories to me... the way he talked... the way he said things. I hope it gives a picture of the life of an Ozark river family and the kind of person my father was as a boy. I only knew him as a man of course and I was blessed to have Farrel Arthur Dablemont as a father. He was a great man in my eyes and in the eyes of many who knew him there in Houston Missouri.
