LAVENDER LYE SOAP.My family uses our Homemade Lye Soap every day for shower shaving and shampoo. It doesn't take the gray out of my hair but it does take the oil and dirt out! and we don't need to use a conditioner lotions or moisturizers. We use it to wash our dishes clothes floors and anything that's dirty! It has personally helped us with burns bug bites psoriasis dry itchy skin poison ivy sunburn and more.Make you own liquid Soap Lotion or Shampoo...When a bar of our soap becomes too small for use break it up and put it into an empty plastic bottle or jar. Add water and stir shake or heat to melt the soap. That's all there is to it!Why is it helpful?Because of what's NOT in it. There are no dyes fragrances perfumes petroleum products or artificial additives in our soap. And because of what IS in it. When lye lard and water combine to make our Homemade Lye Soap glycerin is created within the soap at the same time and stays in our soap. Large commercial soap-makers remove the glycerin and sell it as a separate product thus making two products for the cost of one. Glycerin is a great healer for problem skin areas.Dried Lavender flower buds are ground up and added to our Pure N Simple batch. It makes a creamy colored bar with speckles of flowers throughout. The bar has a wonderful lavender fragrance.Made from lard lye and water just like Grandma made her soap! There are no additives no perfume no essential oils no fragrances no dyes no Triclosan. The natural glycerin has NOT been removed so it remains in the soap to moisturize your skin. The bars are rectangular approximately 5 ounces in weight. (A stick of butter weighs 4 ounces for comparison.) The bars are hand cut and have not been “dressed†the corners and edges are not rounded they have not been polished with alcohol.
